CTOD meeting Tuesday 17th July at St John's Weston Rhyn 19.30

OUR FOOD STOCK IS RUNNING
VERY LOW!!

We are so grateful to all our many donors and supporters who have contributed food to the Food Bank. So here is a very big...THANK YOU!

However we are finding it harder to keep up with demand and the picture shows many gaps on the shelves of the Beatrice Street food store.
We now request your further help to fill the gaps.
During the summer holidays we run a scheme to help the families with children
who receive free school meals in term-time. They can now access the Food Bank
for six food parcels during the school summer holiday. This will only be possible with your help.
Our MOST WANTED items include:-
Tins: Hot Dogs, Meat Ball, corn beef (small tins), ham (small tins), spaghetti, tomatoes, fruit, custard, rice pudding, carrots
Bottles: Squash (small), ketchup, brown sauce, mayonnaise
Jars: Jam, peanut butter, coffee, pasta sauces
Packets: cereals, long life milk

St. Oswald’s Choir ADOPT A CHORISTER SCHEME 2018

Once again our choristers will be attending the Royal School of Church Music summer school at Kingswood School, Bath, this year from 20th – 26th August. The
intensive training that they receive from some of the top choir trainers in the country adds immeasurably to the high standard of singing in St. Oswald’s week by
week.
The cost per chorister is £400 to include full board, music and tuition.
Please help us maintain our choral excellence by adopting a Chorister and helping towards the cost of the course.
Donations of any size will be gratefully appreciated.
If you are interested in Adopting a Chorister there are leaflets at the back of the church or you can contact:

Mike Donkin,  Hendre House, Llanfechain, Powys
