The Office email is stoswald.office@gmail.com

Given the current circumstances there will be no printed magazine unless people expressly request one, so please do tell the people you speak to. If you are aware of someone who normally receives a copy and cannot access the internet please let Frances know stoswald.office@gmail.com Tel: 01691 656208.

Although the church is open for private prayer, copies of the magazine will not be left there for collection, as nothing can be taken  from the church.

As schools reopen for the autumn term these are anxious days for pupils, parents, teachers and ancillaries.  They need our prayers, and so does Jane Webber, whose work is about to change its character.  Jane’s recent newsletter explains that she expects to be replacing face-to-face contact in school assemblies and lunchtime clubs with video sessions.

So we are grateful to the Vicar, Rev. Harvey Gibbons, to Mrs Elaine Leek and to all members of

St Oswald’s Church, Church St, Oswestry, SY11 2SY,

for the opportunity to meet for prayer on

Saturday, September 5th.

The doors of the main church building will be open from 8.45 a.m. and the meeting is scheduled to run from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.  We shall be seated at the tower end of the nave.

In order to comply with the strict rules which apply during the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no breakfast.  There will also be no singing (sorry, Ron), shaking hands or hugging your neighbour.  But there will be hand sanitisers, a one way system, socially distanced seating, a big smile and a very warm welcome!  Face masks must be worn (please bring your own).

Should you require further information, please email or phone me, Alan Braddock, on 01691 654991

Thank you for your continuing interest and prayers. May God bless you.

Alan Braddock,

Breakfast Coordinator
