Organist cover required
Jo Sands; our Organist, is now on Compassionate Leave after her husband, Rev. Bill Sands, recently suffered a series of severe strokes.
This leaves us in a difficult position with Lent and Easter looming and I am reaching out to you to see if you are, in any way, able to help covering practices and services either yourself or by recommending anyone that I can approach. There is a fee of £45 per practice / service.
Choir practices are on Friday evenings from 7.15pm to 9.00pm and it would obviously be helpful, although not essential, if the person covering the Sundays could also cover the preceding Friday practice.
Services are on Sunday mornings at 10.30am with a short practice from 9.30am and evening services are at 6.30pm with a short practice at 5.15pm. This will change to 6.00pm with practice at 4.45pm from 30th March.
Where weekday services take place they usually begin at 7.00pm.
We are still looking for cover after Easter.
